since this thing has nothing more exciting to be than a show diary right now, i totally saw the old 97s tonight. it was totally fabulous. minibar opened for them. they were a band that i haven't heard of. but they were british and alt-country and who knew??

i turns out that no one lied to me and rhett miller is totally sexy. even if he does wear weird shirts. they played every song i wanted them to play, including: salome, rollerskate skinny and the el for one of the encores.
