i did so much walking today. all over downtown seattle. it kind of reminded me of walking all over downtown LA and into quaint bookshops and wandering through museums.
i took a lot of photos. i had all of these really beaultiful shots set up, but it turns out the camera i borrowed wasn't up to the task. it was really disappointing. i suppose cheap cameras are cheap for a reason? but it wasn't totally wasted since i got to walk around by myself and see the docks and crazy, stoned, screaming city people.
oh yeah, lindsay and i ate lunch under wilting cherry blossom trees. they apparently didn't last long and that confirms the ancient japanese saying said by that guy in the movie we watched the other day that the blossoms of the cherry blossom tree don't last very long, but they do leave a lasting impression. he also said "just like the japanese" but i totally don't know how long japanese people last or even if they leave a lasting impression.
my legs hurt a lot. oh man.
